Started out with Mr. Beer in college and everything, EVERYTHING, I brewed tasted like Killians Red. I little apprehensive about starting brewing again with a Stout. I was happy with the results.
Easy to follow instructions.
All you need to make a good Irish Stout is included in the kit. I was guessing it would be much more bitter but the hops give it a nice dryness to match the large amount of grain. Could have used more carbonation, but it may have been how I bottled it. Live and learn, but still drinkable.
Down to my last 9 bottles and I want to make this one again. Definitely a beer to share with friends.
